Here I Am!

Let me start off by introducing myself, my name is Trapper and I am an eight month old Siberian Husky.  I started working in February of 2008 as a Nanny's Assistant.  Every day I'm greeted by a wonderful family of six.  The four little humans (I think they're called children) tend to be the loudest but also the most excited to see me.  There is also a very small dog (I was convinced she was a cat) named Daisy who never really smells good (she's always going to the groomer and boy do I feel bad for her, they always but this lame bow right on the top of her head - glad it's not me!)

Everyday is a little bit different with something interesting going on.  Even if it's not at work at home we tend to be very busy.  My den is a pretty crowded place but I like it.  I share my den with Stacy (she's the Nanny) she's always got something for me to do.  Jacques lives here too, he's around when I get home from work, but I'm usually too tired to visit much.  He's pretty fun though, he's around on my days off.  There's Ginger, she's fun when I get her lazy butt off the couch and get her to play with me - if only I could figure out how to get those yummy treats I'm sure I could get her to do anything!  Then there's the CAT, boy do I love her!  Kind of bums me out that she doesn't like me as much as I like her.  There are the chinchillas, sometimes they smell real good, but otherwise I'm not interested.  Lastly there are the snakes.  There's a whole pack of them, I'm not in least worried about them, they don't say much and they make my bed really hot.  I told them they could sleep with me so we could shut the lights off and have the room cool down a bit, but they weren't having it.  But I got to thank them, they're the reason I'm writing this "blog" - I was trying to get to sleep last night but it was so hot that I was panting and I just couldn't stop, so I couldn't sleep.  All that time when I could have been sleeping left me to do one thing that late at night - Think!  So here's what I came up with.  I could write about myself, my job and anything else that comes to mind AND... MAYBE.... convince some of you out there to read about it.  What do you think?  I think for a little pup like me, it's a pretty good idea!

Wow nice to see a dog has the brilliance to write her own blog! Finally a view from the right side of the dish.... I've heard that those " purebreds " have a little something extra but who knew! I look forward to hearing about all of your adventures ( I am not able to read so this blog is read by my human mother ). XOX sniff sniff .... Cousin Gus
PS ask your Grammy Debbie to show you the pictures from our trip to Lake Wiloughby . Too bad you and Gin were not there too! Great swimming and stick fetching. Hope to see you soon!
